Multiple Sclerosis Meeting
1st Wednesday of every month
10am, Billy Schu’s Food Bar, 15 Seneca Street, Hornell
The Multiple Sclerosis meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 10am, Billy Schu’s Food Bar at 15 Seneca Street in Hornell (new location). Afternoon Grief Support Group
2nd Wednesday of every month
1pm, Elderwood at Hornell Chapel
1 Bethesda Drive
The Afternoon Grief Support Group meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 1pm in the Elderwood at Hornell Chapel on the second floor. A Chaplain will facilitate the group. This free support group is also open to anyone who is struggling with feelings of loss or grief. For more information, contact Laura Vetter at (607) 324-8147.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Class
3rd Wednesday of every month
8am, Hospital Memorial Conference Room (ground floor off the cafeteria)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation class will be held the third Wednesday of every month.

CPR is an essential life-saving technique which is the only known method of keeping someone alive until medically necessary treatment can be administered to the victim. Knowledge of CPR does not only save lives, but also allows victim to recover without sustaining any permanent damage. The class is approximately 3 hours in duration and the cost is $55 which includes the certification card. For more information or to register contact Teri Symonds at

Congestive Heart Failure Support Group
2nd Monday of every month
2pm, Hospital Cardiac Rehab Department, 2nd Floor
The Congestive Heart Failure support group is aimed at cardiac patients and their spouses, families and friends to provide education and support for both the physical and emotional aspects of heart disease. The group will be staffed by facilitators from the Cardiac Rehab Program who are specially trained in cardiac care. Patients have been shown to benefit through participation in a support group.
